Ladies Who Lunch

So today yah darling was the pinacle of my week as me and a few associates of mine gathered in my friends house for a lovely three course luncheon ... with all the associated gossiping. I have decided I have become a lady who lunches meeting for more than my fair share of coffee's in Starbucks .. where else ...and sampling the lunch menu's of café rouge and the alma.

Was terrific meeting up with all the Chelmsford rif raff ..even though I had to avoid the odd lunatics ... one such lunatic that I encountered whilst walking down Chelmsford high street totally minding my own business; He decided that the rest of the merry shoppers and townfolk would need to know about his opinions of the paving shouting at the top of his lungs ... "has anyone ever ... felt that the floor covering ... obstructs your vision .... " .. TOTAL LOON ... he did however appear on the street at exactly the same location as the charity guilt tripper ... maybe some sort of gas leak is affecting people's brains ....maybe I just live in essex

So today was cool ... have ponced around at my friends house and all of us have decided that we are slowly turning into housewives whether we like it or not .. having new found interest in subjects such as interior design ... recipes and such like ... vowing to each other that we will regularly meet up and have a mother's meeting when we are older .... letting the au-pairs look after the childlets and have their own little meeting whilst we drink the bubbly and gossip about the latest laura ashley prints or old friends gone bad!

Oh ... and a note to those regular blog watchers ... the charity dude was actually selling these little books to buy wheelchairs for disabled children .. not just wheels..........

This just leaves me with the New Hall mission statement i however i feel it should be slightly altered to 'We believe that New Hall enables pupils to confidently cook, arrange flowers and set tables and to meet the challenges of being a confident housewife in the widerworld....screw an education ... we'll teach them to spot rich ..corner and marry it!
