All i want is a room somewhere...

Its not often i get fed up but i have to say im very fed up!i no catchy first sentence to a blog!
its amazing to think i have almost completed my first year at Roehampton, it has just gone so fast and we now have the lovely task of trying to find a house. I'm planning to move in with two other girls and we all are finding the whole situation very difficult. The way Roehampton do it is they release a housing list and then the rest is up to you. Its now the second day of house hunting, we have seen 6 places and have three left to see tomorrow and so far none have been suitable. All have been a good twenty minutes walk and either too expensive or not being in a very nice area. Its not like we are being picking, one house we went to was above a shop, front door lock broken, chipping paint, patches of carpet ripped, how they can expect people to buy this? In contrast was a massive house, kitchen, dining room, lounge, garden and three bedrooms but a long way and slightly out of our price rage. So tomorrow heres hoping we will find a house in the middle of the two extremes as by Thursday everything will be gone and ill have to commute!

NB If you live near Roehampton and are willing to take three lovely girls please let me know... don't be a weirdo

Feed the World, Damn was that last year??

Today has been a good day! Today me and Simon went to Chessington World of Adventures. The weather was lovely, the park was empty and the company was perfect, a good way to spend a Wednesday! For your pleasure i have posted a few snaps from the day and the whole album will be on facebook in due course.
However i did have a shock today whilst approaching a ride, the ride was called 'Rameses Revenge' , you kinda sit in a row of chairs and are thrown in many different directions and then they lower you into fountains of water face first. Now usually, back in the days, i would have loved this ride but today i found myself saying 'Ah no you go on, ill stay here with the bags and take some snaps on the old camera'. Now i know theres always one person in the group when you go to a theme park that enjoys sitting with the bags and watching the ride, but i never thought this person was gonna be me. So i have put this mishap to one side and have assured myself that it will never happen again, i am young, young and hip and down with the kids,i'm going on the skateboard!
Also do you ever get one of those texts where they start with 'Congratulations' and you are sure its junk and delete it. Well today i received what i thought to be one of those texts and instead of deleting it i read it. Turns out that my application for 'Live Earth' was succesful so on the 7th July me and Simon will be at Wembly in the company of :
Beastie Boys
Black Eyed Peas
Bloc Party
Corinne Bailey Rae
Damien Rice
David Gray
Duran Duran
Foo Fighters
Genesis
James Blunt
John Legend
Keane
Madonna
Paolo Nutini
Razorlight
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Snow Patrol

and more to be added, we are very excited!

I can't think of a title???

this is not good.... not good at all.... Tomorrow i have my theory test and its not going well. so far tonight i have taken four test and failed each one, infact i re-did one of the tests and still managed to fail. However as i have just explained to my mum i see my failings as a positive thing for such reasons. 1) if i had past the tests i would have been away watching tv, instead i am learning road signs , 2) it has taught me not to leave things to the last minute. I also see my failing tonight as a good thing because in the past i have failed mocks, most of my GCSEs but i still came out with 11 a-c grades (who needs a grammer school!)so its all good??? its a twisted logic!!! However something did just come to my mind, why am i blogging? i should be learning???

anyway will let you no how it goes, my test is tommorrow at 9.30, havent seen 9.30 in a long time! ( if anyone reads this blog before Wednesday morning and knows where the test centre is, i would be grateful as it has moved)

Second thing i'm annoyed at is my purchase from play.com. i bought a book entitled 'A Beginners guide to skateboarding' and whilst reading it on the train today i was shocked to read that the average age for a skateboarder was 13-16, this just puts the country to shame!!!

Finally whilst over in N.Ireland for the past week i have experienced a number of new things,
1) go karting, was v. nervous to begin with but it was a lot of fun.
2) Wheaten bread made by Simons auntie, is a bit like moat loaf but less sticky.
3) Fifa, i am now awesome.
4) I won buzz music quiz despite haveing someone who wasnt very good on my team
5) After Adams tutition i am now a fine drummer
6) A kabab around 900 calories but it was gooood.
7) I can sleep through the early morning playing of the drums

There are also many other things to make you aware of but i think i'm gonna leave that to another time.... good night .....
